Community Fellowship
Throughout the year, we have a variety of opportunities to gather with one another and with our neighbors for special meals, fun events, and building relationships. Here are some examples:
ALL SAINTS SUNDAY: Join us for an All Saints Day celebration! We will have a special worship service honoring the saints past, present and future. We will have a potluck meal following church, so please bring a dish to share! We will also have games and fun for all ages. Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to our All Saints Celebration!
HALLOWEEN NIGHT – “From ghoulies and ghosties And long-leggedy beasties And things that go bump in the night, Good Lord, deliver us!” We offer hot chocolate and candy to trick or treaters and have fun meeting our neighbors!
GREENING OF THE CHURCH: on the last Sunday of Advent, we will “green the church” – putting out Christmas trees, flowers, and decorations for Christmas Eve. If you are available to assist, please join us from 10 am – 12 noon. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served. All are welcome!
ANNUAL MEETING: A bit like a family reunion and celebration of the past year! We will meet February 23rd to share a potlock meal and hear about all the good things going on in our community.
PENTECOST PICNIC: We celebrate the birthday of the church with a bbq and summer fun!
