Holy Baptism

Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's Body and the Church.

The bond which God establishes in Baptism is indissoluable.

As an event which welcomes one into Christ's body, Baptism takes place during regularly scheduled worship services (except in the case of an emergency).

Baptism are scheduled on the Sunday following All Saints Day, the Sunday following the Baptism of our Lord, the Sunday of Pentecost and the visitation of the Bishop . The baptism takes place during the 10:30 am service. The dates for baptisms for 2011-2012 are as follows:

• Sunday November 6, 2011
• Sunday, January 8, 2012
• Sunday, May 27, 2012
• No Bishop's visitation is currently scheduled for 2012.
• Adult baptism is scheduled for the Easter Vigil which this year is: Saturday, April 7, 2012

No baptisms take place during Lent and Holy Week (between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday).
