Holy Baptism

Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's Body and the Church.

The bond which God establishes in Baptism is indissoluable.

As an event which welcomes one into Christ's body, Baptism takes place during regularly scheduled worship services, Sundays at 10:30 am (except in the case of an emergency).

Baptism are scheduled on the Sunday of All Saints Day, the Sunday of the Baptism of our Lord, the Sunday preceeding Ash Wednesday, the Sunday of Pentecost and and Trinity Sunday, the visitation of the Bishop . The baptism takes place during the 10:30 am service. The next scheduled baptism is:

  • Sundays, January 10, February 7, 2016
  • Sundays, April 17, May 15; May 22, 2016
  • Sunday November 6,2016 - All Saints Day
  • Bishop's visitation is scheduled late in 2016, date to be announced
  • Adult baptism can be any of the above Sundays but is also scheduled for the Easter Vigil which this year is: Saturday,March 26, 2016. 
  • No baptisms take place during Lent (February 10-March 19) and Holy Week (March 20-March 25, 2016).
